Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters Offices

Orleans Parish has two permanent locations open up to the public Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.thou.  (with the exception holidays).  Both locations are available to the public inside these hours of performance listed for voter registration needs and other related ballot purposes.

To qualify to vote you lot must

  • be a U.S. Denizen;
  • be at least 17 years former, just must be 18 years erstwhile by the next election to vote;

Apply online to annals to vote or make changes to your registration.

Register in Person

Use in person to register to vote at any Registrar of Voters' Part.

Orleans Parish locations include:  Principal Office in City Hall at 1300 Perdido St. Room 1W24 and the branch office in the Algiers Courthouse at 225 Morgan St., Room 105.  Part hours are viii:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

When registering to vote at the Registrar of Voters' Part, applicants are required to provide the following:

  • Current Louisiana driver'due south license or Louisiana ID
  • Nascence certificate

Early Vote

Orleans Parish voters may vote early from fourteen to 7 days prior to any scheduled election at the following locations:

  • Lake Vista Community Middle, 6500 Spanish Fort Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70122 (2nd Floor Meeting Room)
  • Voting Machine Warehouse, 8870 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA 70127

All early on voting locations will open be from 8:30a.m. to 6 p.m. for each solar day of early voting, except Sundays and state holidays.

Early voters will need to present a Louisiana Commuter's License/ ID or sign a voter affidavit.

Vote on Ballot Day

Voters will need to written report to their assigned polling location on Ballot day. The polls are open from seven a.m. to 8 p.thousand for Municipal and Parochial elections.  During Congressional Elections, the polls operate from six a.m. to 8 p.m.  You can detect your polling location by calling our part at (504) 658-8300 or by using the Louisiana polling locater  .
